The Suiro series is characterized by its gorgeous aroma, refreshing flavor, and excellent drinkability.

Compared to the standard Suiro, this sake has a more restrained fragrance and a crisp, refreshing entry. The balance of sweetness, dryness, acidity, and bitterness is outstanding, perfectly matching the spirit of spring. As an “Usunigori” (lightly cloudy sake), it fully expresses the sweetness and umami of Omachi rice. It is recommended to chill slightly, gently shake before drinking, and enjoy its best flavor.

This is a “Usunigori” sake made by adding moromi mash to freshly pressed Junmai Ginjo, making it a representative sake for spring. Whether for hanami (cherry blossom viewing) or picnics, it is the ideal companion for spring days. This sake is a limited label “Suiro” from Maihime Shuzo in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture.

Its brewing water is drawn from the pure underground flow of the Kirigamine Plateau, and the rice is carefully selected from premium sake rice such as Yamada Nishiki, Miyama Nishiki, and Omachi. Unlike the brewery’s standard brand “Maihime,” “Suiro” accounts for only a quarter of total production and is brewed exclusively by hand with great care.
