Manzen's unique flavor includes the bitterness and sweetness of black koji, as well as the nutty aroma and sweet potato taste brought by barrel distillation. It is a gentle and indescribable delicious shochu.

Manzen shochu can be paired with various dishes to add color to your table. You can enjoy it with hot water or ice cubes as you please.

Manzen is a shochu made from sweet potatoes, produced in the area around Teshirogawa in the Kirishima Mountains of Kagoshima Prefecture. Here, with four distinct seasons, nature coexists in harmony, and natural mountain fish are nurtured. The Manzen brewery is a small mountain cottage distillery located in a remote mountainous area, adhering to a grateful heart for nature, and using traditional manual methods such as hand-made koji, barrel brewing, and wooden barrel distillation.

Manzen is based on carefully selected ingredients. Kagoshima Prefecture's "Kogane Sengan" sweet potato is used as the raw material, and Akita Prefecture's "Hitomebore" is used as the rice koji. NK black koji is used as the koji mold, and Kirishima Rekkasui is used as the brewing water.
