This sake is brewed with Aomori-grown Hanaomoi rice, polished to 50%. It is bottled as an unfiltered, undiluted nama genshu with no added water, preserving its original flavor. It exudes an elegant fragrance, with a refreshing and crisp entry that unfolds into a refined sweetness reminiscent of ripe fruit, balanced by vivid acidity and rich layers. As it is an unpasteurized sake, it is delivered under refrigeration and must be stored chilled upon arrival.
In February 2025, Narumi Jozo in Kuroishi, Aomori, released Inamuraya Junmai Daiginjo Muku Nama, a special contract-store exclusive available only via online purchase. “Muku” is brewed once a year as a freshly pressed nama genshu, bottled strictly according to pre-orders from contracted stores, and offered only in one-liter bottles. True to its name, “Muku” lets you savor the pure and unadulterated essence of sake.
