“Dassai Shochu” is crafted from the sake lees of Dassai. Known for its gorgeous fruity fragrance, Dassai lends this shochu a distinctive aromatic sweetness unlike typical rice shochu. Compared to standard 40% ABV rice shochu, it is softer on the palate and extremely smooth. Its round and delicate flavor blooms whether mixed with hot water, cold water, or served over ice.
Kasutori shochu is a type of rice shochu made by distilling the alcohol-rich lees left after sake brewing.
