Double distillation in copper stills ensures small-batch production of refined quality. Entirely additive-free, it is crafted using Japanese ingredients and distilling techniques.

The name “Acou” comes from the ancient “Akou” tree of Miyano-hama in Ibusuki, symbolizing resilience and local spirit. This rum embodies the region’s black sugar heritage, distillation traditions, and modern design aesthetics, standing as one of the few truly local, entirely original Japanese rums.
