In terms of flavor, this whisky is carefully blended to express the unique “Shizuoka style.” For the packaging, it takes inspiration from approachable, easy-to-enjoy whiskies, featuring a unified vivid orange label and box design that conveys brightness, energy, and a sporty impression. Orange also evokes the iconic image of vibrant mandarins, a symbol strongly associated with Shizuoka Prefecture.
At Gaiaflow, the idea of creating a blended whisky had been in motion since the distillery’s opening, with the aim of offering a whisky that people could enjoy casually. However, due to the limited production capacity of the Shizuoka Distillery, some foreign-origin malt and grain whiskies were introduced during its early years and matured on site. Following the launch of the single malt whiskies “Prologue K” (2020), “Prologue W,” and “Contact S” (both in 2021), the distillery finally began full-scale production of blended whisky.
The “M” in the product name comes from the word “Meet,” symbolizing the encounter and harmony between Shizuoka’s own malt whisky and carefully selected international whiskies.
