This fresh-pressed sake showcases a unique freshness, paired with the dignified aroma of polished sake, with a pleasant mouthfeel. The elegant rice flavor and clear, refreshing sensation show beauty and quality! This pure rice Junmai Daiginjo sake is perfect for pairing with food!
This is a new attempt by Eikofuji, using the rare brewing-fit rice "Ushuhonoka" from Yamagata prefecture.
"Ushuhonoka" is one of the three rice types from Takagi Sake Brewery, along with "Tatsuotsuka" and "Sake Mirai", cultivated by the 14th generation Takagi Tatsugoro. Its pedigree is a cross between Miyamanishiki and Gyokuro F10. It is an early-maturing variety, with slightly weaker resistance to lodging, larger grains, lower shinpaku (white heart) expression rate, and rounder and smaller grain shape. It has a medium protein content. Eikofuji not only uses suitable rice but also has a label design and name that is quite eye-catching.
"Ryuginkosho" means the meaning of understanding each other's emotions and thoughts among similar people. It also means the reverberation of a person's voice or singing. We hope to summon "clouds", nourish with "graceful rain", and nurture with "new wind", and present it to you under the name "Ryuginkosho".
