This sake is specially designed to reveal its appeal across a wide range of serving temperatures, making it equally enjoyable chilled, at room temperature, or warmed. For chilled service, around 10°C is recommended, while 45–50°C is ideal when served warm. At approximately 45°C, the umami becomes particularly rich and full, while above 50°C the acidity grows more pronounced and the finish becomes sharper and crisper. It is especially well suited to camping, where it can be slowly enjoyed with friends and family around a campfire.

“Daishinshu En no En” is a special sake created around the concept of “enjoying Japanese sake in the heart of nature.” Developed by brewery staff who are passionate about camping, the sake was repeatedly tasted and refined outdoors after they personally set up tents, gathered around a campfire, and explored how it could best complement the outdoor experience.

The name “En no En” evokes the idea of people gathering around the flames of a campfire and forming connections through sake. The name was created by Mr. Kosugi, president of Matsumoto-based outdoor equipment brand ZANE ARTS, who participated in the development process and provided extensive advice. The label was designed by artist Chihiro Koshi, who joined the brewery staff around the campfire, shared sake with them, and translated the surrounding natural scenery and emotions of that moment into the artwork. The label also uses environmentally conscious biomass paper made from forestry and agricultural by-products such as thinned wood, rice straw, and rice husks that might otherwise be discarded, reflecting a commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining a natural aesthetic. From the sake itself and its name to the packaging design, every element revolves around the themes of nature, campfires, and the connections between people, making this an ideal sake for outdoor gatherings and relaxed conversations with friends around the fire.
