On the palate, this sake showcases the distinctive character of Ginnosei rice, offering a refreshing citrus-like profile accompanied by a subtle touch of pleasant bitterness. Elegant Ginjo aromatics intertwine with a pure, transparent sweetness, creating a vibrant and lively impression. The sake is bursting with youthful energy, almost as if it is dancing across the palate, expressing the freshness, vitality, and charm unique to a newly pressed Nama sake. It is a remarkably spirited Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu that perfectly captures the excitement of a fresh brewing season.

This first-press Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu is brewed exclusively from Ginnosei sake rice. For this vintage, the polishing ratio has been adjusted from 50% to 55%, allowing for greater expression of the rice's natural umami and character. Since its introduction, Ginnosei has been widely regarded as an ideal match for AK-1 (Akita Hana Yeast), and it played a significant role in bringing attention to Akita sake during the early Heisei era. Today, it remains one of the prefecture's most representative and respected sake rice varieties.
