During brewing, “Yoshidagura U Hyakumangoku No Shiro” is used as the brewing sake, combining fermentation-driven effervescence with citrus-like acidity and a pleasing, gentle sweetness to create a fresh and refreshing style. It is well suited for enjoying on its own or paired with appetizers as a food-friendly sake. Best served well chilled and enjoyed in a wine glass.
The first release in the “Yoshidagura U Layered” series makes its debut. Previously released in a kijoshu format, it has now been redefined as the “Layered” series, as the typical flavor profile of kijoshu differed from the direction Yoshidagura U aims to pursue. “Layered” refers to the concept of “layer upon layer,” using sake to brew sake, allowing delicate flavors to interweave in multiple strata.
