Despite being pasteurized, the sake retains a delicate and lively natural effervescence. Once opened, it releases fresh and expressive fruit aromas reminiscent of green banana and lychee. The palate is juicy and full, with soft yet rich rice umami quickly unfolding before the signature dry structure of “Senretsu no Dry” emerges. With a relatively low alcohol content of 14%, the sake remains light and fluid, finishing with a clean, sharp, and crisp cut that creates an appealing contrast between “Juicy × Dry.” It is particularly outstanding as a food-pairing sake and is recommended with white fish sashimi, squid sashimi, salt-grilled ayu, and richly flavored seasonal fish. The sake enhances the natural umami of seafood while its refreshing dryness cleanses the palate. Best enjoyed well chilled to fully appreciate the refreshing combination of vibrant fruit aromas, delicate bubbles, and its distinctive crisp dryness.

“Osakazuki Junmai Senretsu no Dry Hiire” is a popular series release created by Makino Shuzo, the oldest brewery in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, as part of its exploration of new possibilities for the Osakazuki brand. Brewed using Gohyakumangoku rice polished to 70%, it retains a vibrant freshness reminiscent of namazake, while pasteurization gives the umami a more composed and rounded character.
