Since last year, the Nikko Kaido Oyama Distillery has been distilling and maturing whisky, and after over one year of cask aging, it proudly introduces two limited-release New Born Whiskies—Malt and Grain—launched in late September 2023. This Single Malt expression showcases the distillery’s dedication and creativity, crafted entirely with domestic sake yeast and distilled in domestically produced stainless steel stills with copper panels. Certain processes incorporate vacuum distillation, lending the whisky a distinctive character. Globally limited to only 1,200 bottles, each individually numbered, it carries significant collectible value.
