At the moment it touches the palate, the aroma bursts forth, then resolves cleanly into a pure, crisp finish—like particles of light shimmering and illuminating the table. This is a dignified, radiant dry sake that remains refreshingly clean, gently accompanying the closing days of the year while opening a bright prelude to the new one.
Brewed exclusively with 100% “Kinmon Nishiki,” a rare sake rice from Nagano Prefecture, this is a brand-new experimental release and the first at Senjo to employ Hiroshima ginjo yeast. The soft, delicate umami of Kinmon Nishiki intertwines with the elegant, ethyl acetate–driven ginjo aromas brought by the yeast, pursuing the perfect balance between a crisp dry profile and refined fragrance—true to its name, “Radiant.”
