This sake has a musky grape-like aroma when opened, giving a refreshing impression. It has a moist and fresh taste with an elegant and clear flavor, a little sweetness, and a clean juicy sensation. The bright and lively acidity, in combination with the slightly penetrating astringency in the aftertaste, deepens the impression and balances the overall taste. A subtle richness can be felt in the lingering finish.

Adding a small amount of soda water can increase the freshness of the sake.

Harujion is a limited edition sake that challenges the use of new rice. By using a rice variety called "Haruyou" from Niigata prefecture, this sake expresses unique flavors and aromas using its characteristic. Especially for how the aromatic component 4-MMP affects the taste and aroma, it may be something to enjoy by tasting.

With a delicate and deep blue-green label, this sake perfectly captures the impression that cannot be expressed in a single sip. Just like the gentle breeze that blows between the changing seasons, this sake features subtle nuances in its flavor.

"Haruyou" is a low-protein rice developed for patients with kidney disease in Niigata prefecture. It is also a type of rice that produces a large amount of 4-MMP aromatic component.
