The name "79 Au" is derived from the atomic number of gold, "79," and the elemental symbol for gold, "Au," combined to create the name of the sake. A large amount of gold leaf is submerged at the bottom of the bottle. When the bottle is shaken, the gold leaf floats in the sake, creating a stunning visual effect.
