Dassai's "Muroka Funabakumi" is released every March and October. It is an unfiltered, freshly pressed sake that exudes a sense of freshness like freshly squeezed juice. Despite being unfiltered, it retains the typical rich fruity sweetness and aroma of matured fruits that are characteristic of Dassai sake. The sake carries a juicy flavor and a sense of freshness.
The bottle design features a white frosted glass bottle, different from other Dassai sake bottles. Through the bottle, one can see the sake inside, making it easy to assess its freshness. However, this transparency is also a weakness as light can easily penetrate the bottle, necessitating storage in a shaded area or inside a refrigerator to preserve its quality.
