It is a blend of daiginjo sake matured at minus 5 degrees Celsius for 12 years. Its notable features are its clear and penetrating aroma, distinct presence, and deep yet gentle flavor.
In March 2004, "Born Hoshi" was selected as the official sake for the "Prince Takamado Trophy FIE World Cup Japan." This event, held in Fukui Prefecture, was attended by athletes and coaches from over 100 countries. As the best representative sake of Japan, it was used to welcome the international participants, and the brewery took great pride in crafting this sake.
It has received numerous awards, including the highest award at the "San Francisco International Wine Competition 2022" and "San Francisco International Wine Competition 2018," as well as the gold award in the "Saké Design Division" at the "Los Angeles International Wine and Spirits Competition 2018."
