This sake is brewed in wooden barrels, naturally infusing it with woody aromas that blend harmoniously with the taste of sake. It offers a clear and pure drinking experience, with a wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity.
Commonly known as "Cosmos", this sake is made using "Kairyoshinko" rice. "Kairyoshinko" was the first sake rice born in Akita Prefecture in 1959. It is a descendant of the "Shinko 190" variety, which gives it a connection to "Miyamanishiki" in terms of lineage. However, the taste is completely opposite; while "Miyamanishiki" is known for its firmness, "Kairyoshinko" offers a silky and smooth impression.
